Pakistan-India talks on the Sir Creek issue under the Composite Dialogue
Framework were held in Rawalpindi on 28-29 May 2005 to discuss the
demarcation of International boundary between the two countries in the
Sir Creek area.
2. The Pak delegation was led by Rear Admiral Ahsan-ul-Haq Chaudhri,
Additional Secretary, Ministry of Defence and Indian delegation was led
by Maj. Gen. M. Gopal Rao, Additional Surveyor General of India.
3. The talks were held in a frank and cordial atmosphere. The two sides
exchanged views on various issues involved.
4. The two sides agreed to continue their discussions aimed at an early
resolution of the issue for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
